Mactracker may request access to certain personal information when you utilize certain features of the Mac app.
- Mactracker requires access to Calendar or Reminders if you wish to add a notification when an entry in "My Models" is about to leave warranty coverage.
- Mactracker requires access to Contacts if you would like to associate a contact with an entry in "My Models". Mactracker may also ask for access if you are opening a model that previously had a contact associated.
When you associate a contact, the contact's universally unique identifier (UUID) is stored with the remainder of the "My Models" data in a preference file on your Mac. Mactracker does not store or transmit any other personal information.
You can revoke Mactracker's permission to access your Contacts, Calendar, or Reminders in the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences.
